agentools.sh, a hand-picked directory of AI tools

A hand-picked directory of AI agents, tools, skills and MCP servers for solo founders. My own product, not client work. I designed and built it: a page and an install command for every tool, a skills board scored for trust, and an MCP server so agents can search it themselves.

The idea

agentools.sh is my own product. It is not client work.

It is a hand-picked directory of AI agents, tools, Agent Skills and MCP servers, for founders who run their business with agents. The site's own line is the brief: copy the install command and get back to building.

What I built

Every tool has its own page: what it does, the pricing, the licence, the agents it works with and the install command for each of them. One click on a command copies it.

Copying an install command on a tool page

Explore shows every tool as a card with the tool's own artwork. It filters by category, by price and by a line of text. The search palette opens from anywhere with ⌘K and covers tools, skills and collections.

Explore, filtered by category

Around it:

  • Skills, a leaderboard ranked by installs. Each skill is read from its own files and scored for what it can touch: scripts, shell commands, files, network and credentials.
  • Collections, stacks of tools for one job, with every install command copied at once.
  • Grok Bot ideas, ready to run prompts to copy.
  • A bookmark on every card, and a Saved page that keeps them.

For agents

The directory is also built to be read by agents. A remote MCP server, read only and with no account or key, lets an agent search tools and skills and get the exact install command. There is a SKILL.md for coding agents, and the whole directory as JSON and as llms.txt, rebuilt on every update.

Now

agentools.sh is live and curated in Buenos Aires. Every submission is installed and tested before it is listed. A Friday email sends five new tools worth installing.
